The diet pill and fat loss drug industry is built on ignorance: not theirs, yours.

Many of these companies bank on that fact that people generally don’t know a whole lot about fat loss or supplements. They are in the business of selling shortcuts to you so that you don’t have to know anything about fat loss. The reason for this is simple: if people knew a lot about fat loss, they wouldn’t need fat loss products anymore and the companies would go out of business.

As backwards as it seems, the diet industry can only stay profitable by keeping people fat.

Look at the typical business. They do their best to keep customers coming back to them. That’s how they make money. Why would the diet industry be any different? If you lose fat and maintain that fat loss you won’t need to lose fat anymore. You won’t be their customer anymore!

As little business sense as it makes, the ideal situation would be to have companies that are dedicated to the goal of losing customers. If they do their job, you will lose fat and keep it off and never need them again! As a personal trainer, my goal has always been to train people so thoroughly that they don’t need me anymore.

Is this sort of reform going to happen in the diet industry? Not likely. But there is something you can do to stop the cycle (you are doing it right now): LEARN!

How Fat Loss Pills Can Make You Fatter

The bottom line is…fat loss pills work. This is both the best thing about them and the worst thing about them.

When you take a good fat burning supplement, you lose a lot of fat, you feel better about yourself and you are happy, right? This is the best thing about fat loss supplements.

The worst thing about these supplements is that because they work so well, you don’t have to change your eating or exercise habits to accomplish your goals. You get results simply by taking a little pill.

Does this phrase sound familiar: “Eat whatever you want and still lose weight!”

Here’s the scenario: you take the pills and you lose all the weight you want. What happens when you stop taking the supplement once you’ve reached your goals? Since you haven’t had to change your eating or exercise habits, you regain the weight. Then you buy their pills again and start the same cycle again! It is very similar to the yo-yo diet syndrome of weight loss and regain.

How do you break this cycle? The solution is very simple though it may not be glamorous or easy: you learn to eat properly and you exercise regularly.

When you remove your dependence on fat loss pills to lose fat (through education, nutrition and exercise), you free yourself to use them to enhance your efforts, not anchor them. You will be able to lose your extra fat and keep it off without having to depend on fat loss pills to make it happen.

If you’re doing cardio for fat loss, you should only concern yourself with how many calories you burn. The type of cardio you do, really doesn’t matter.

There’s a huge debate going on online about whether High Intensity Interval Training or Low Intensity cardio burns more fat. In my opinion this is a useless argument. Even if one type of exercise burns more fat than another while you’re doing it, the amount of fat you lose is still almost entirely dependent on the calorie deficit. Our body is very smart. If you burn more fat during exercise, you’ll burn more glucose at rest and vice versa.

I think the real argument actually is which type of cardio burns more calories per minute. In that case, yes, higher intensity always wins.

Anything that is high intensity, of course burns more calories than it’s lower intensity version. But that doesn’t make it superior for fat loss. What you burn in half an hour of crazy cardio, you can burn in one hour of brisk walking.

If your goal is fat loss there is no need to be doing highly technical cardio like sprints.

Man you can clearly tell I don’t do any running. Look how awful my form is. What the hell am I looking after airplanes? Airplanes

Anyway let’s go back to the video.

So as I was saying, only concern yourself with burning calories. Here’s what you can do as cardio:

This is what I personally do. I make an effort to walk around 7000 steps per day. For each kilometer you walk you burn as many calories as your bodyweight in kilograms
Running burns just as many calories as walking per distance but you do it in less time. You can run 2-3 hours a week as your cardio. If you’re a strength athlete just know that running is a type of cardio that produces pretty high muscle damage because your legs repeatedly hit the ground. This interferes with recovery so it’s harder to fit between leg training sessions.
Swimming is awesome. It involves your whole body and it’s a type of cardio that trains the upper body more than the lower body.
Do 5-10 sprints twice a week
High Intensity Interval Training on a Bike
High Intensity Interval Training on a Bike is probably the the best type of cardio you can do indoors. You can do this setup 2-3 times a week.
There are hundreds other options, really. You can mountain bike, jump rope, play sports, hike, shadow box, dance, whatever you want. Remember you’re doing it just as a means to burn energy.

Day 2 of the Shredded in 10 Series at Home. Remember these are advance workouts, if you are having trouble doing these exercises then you should follow our at 100 day at home fat loss series, the link for that is below.

Some exercises we do: Squats, bicep curls, Arnold press, skull crushers, push ups, Hammer curls, tricep kick backs, front and side raises, squat jumps, mountain climbers, planks,

We got a lot of request from people how to shred their fat to show their abs or to simply lose fat. To tone the muscle and get rid of the excess fat to show those cuts and toned muscles than this is the series for you. We have another series for fat loss as well which men and women can follow, and this can be followed by men and women as well. You also have to ensure to build the muscle under the fat in order to see the cuts. If you don’t have muscles underneath then you’ll just look like a skeleton. We have other weight training series to build the muscles underneath.
To start off, make sure you stretch, watch our stretching videos for basic stretches.
This is a 10 DAY SERIES, once you finish the series, keep repeating it. So 10 days will last you 2 weeks (with 2 day rest on weekends). Just keep repeating it until that fat comes off.
Remember that to get rid of the fat, you got to follow a proper fat loss diet as well.
These are very advance moves and exercises, if you haven’t worked out before, you should start with our 100 day series at home even if you are a guy else you won’t be able to do these easily, once you finish that series then you can do this series.

Are you struggling to lose weight? Do you wish there was a secret to fat loss? By now you’ve probably been surfing the internet looking for answer to your weight loss question for at least an hour and you are ready to read something of real value…am I right?

You see the infomercials almost daily and you think to yourself, “If only I could see the results that these people are getting in the testimonials”. You see that a middle aged man or woman has lost in excess of 30lbs. and you just wonder how it can be done.

Take a quick moment and think about all the “quick fix” solutions to weight loss out there and how they always seem to fall short of the expectations you have put on them. How much have you spent on such infomercials? Twenty, fifty,…$ 100?

It’s actually downright insulting for these snake-oil salesmen to push their products on you! However, they are so well put together! It’s really a psychological game and these companies play it so well.

So now it’s time to get past all the infomercials and fad diets out there and talk about the cold, hard truth behind weight loss, abdominal reduction and fat burning. No gossip, just the science behind what we all need.

First, we need to address the important principle of structuring your workouts. In order to stimulate fat-loss, especially from your stomach, you need to stop wasting so much of your time doing worthless crunches and in the hopes of “spot-reducing” your abdominal fat.

Spot-reduction does not occur because fat loss AND weight loss occur from the body as a whole. Your body is not capable of selecting where it would like to burn fat from.

You can never lose fat from your stomach by exercising that area alone. You must do something much more capable of burning fat from the entire body and that’s what we will discuss next!

Now, don’t be put off by my bashing on ab exercises. I still believe ab exercises are an important addition to any workout. The point I would like you to run with is that ab exercises are great for strengthening the core area, however, they will not make you burn the most calories for your buck!

Instead, I like to concentrate on what I call the after-burn effect. You see, if you use multi-joint exercises like presses, pulls, and lunges, you will actually end up burning more fat from your belly than by using ab exercises!

I know this may be hard for you to imagine, but these types of exercises cause your body to have an increased metabolic rate for up to 72 hours after you perform them. Think about that!

If you do an intense workout consisting of these multi-joint exercises, you will reap an amazing benefit. During this 48-72 hour post exercise period your body will actually be flooded with fat-burning and muscle building hormones!

So, how do you do it? How do you accomplish this avalanche of fat-burning hormones? Easy, you use exercises like squats, lunges, deadlifts, presses, pulls, AND your favorite ab exercises together. However, your priority is placed on the exercises that are more intense and require more concentration.

This boils down to taking minimal rest periods and ignoring your gym friends’ gossip. You need to be intense! Keep track of your rest times and tell your buddies to meet you for food after your amazing fat burning workout!

Second, we need to eat for fat burning. Your nutrition literally has the power to make you burn fat. Of coarse, the exact opposite is true, food can also be the cause of your fat gain just as easily. The key is to use science in your favor to determine which foods should be eaten to accomplish your fat loss.

By following the recommendations of fad diets you will actually keep yourself from burning fat. Imagine that. The very thing that all of the fad diets claim to cure, they actually aid! If you follow the advice of the low-carb diets, soup diets, amazon diets, low-fat diets, and calorie ratio diets, you will only end up gaining fat because they do not understand the science behind fat loss.

None of these fad diets address the fact that a specific hormonal balance within the body is needed in order to burn fat. If this hormonal balance is not achieved, then there’s no fat burning!

When you begin to move away from the fad diets and toward a realistic fat burning program you will find that becoming leaner happens automatically. It has to become lean if your hormones are in their proper levels because hormones have the master key to this process!

So the secret to fat loss is essentially eating foods and doing activities that boost your fat burning hormones and limit your “fat adding hormones”. This process is not complex and has a definite cause and effect. Remember, stay positive about your weight loss goals and take it one day at a time.
